Made in Japan
The name Hario originated from the combination of the Japanese word hari (玻璃) or glass and o (王) or king, combined formed the meaning the King of Glass. A brand with more than 100 years of experience under it's belt started in 1921 as a laboratory glassware seller and manufacturer in Tokyo, Japan. Using their heatproof glassware and glass processing techniques, Hario started creating coffee siphons in 1948. Later on they expanded to creating their well loved home products from other materials. They are now a household name among coffee brewing enthusiasts.
Easy to use
I looked at the plastic drippers for the high heat capacity because if I'm brewing 1 cup at a time, I do not want to be losing any heat. This does the job, but what impresses most is that with all the hot water and dark coffee, there is no staining or breakdown of the plastic in any visible manner. I'm very happy with this. And another unexpected perk of the plastic? Being able to swirl my coffee quickly and easily due to the light weight!
As expected super light.
Does a great job!
Hario: designed well, works well
This is actually my first dripper as I am still studying the art of brewing coffee at home, so far the Hario V60 is perfect without any doubt for home brewing a perfect cup of coffee!
Very suitable for the morning coffee, smooth taste with fruitier aroma.
It is perfect for everyday morning cup. Very Satisfied.
Very good quality indeed! Bravo!
This has become a favorite dripper. If you’re lazy like me, this will be the perfect dripper. Haha! No need to wash. Just throw in your filter, brew, and discard.
This also produces a very well balanced cup. I was a bit surprised that this has a slightly slower draw down compared to other cone drippers.
We got the coffee couple of days after roasted, it’s fresh and taste very good
