Kurasu House Blend for Espresso (Medium roast)
Country: Brazil , Guatemala
Flavor note: Cacao, Cashew nuts, Raspberry, well balanced
Barista's comment: A classic espresso balanced well suited as black or white. Expect a more full bodied flavor when used as pourover.
I love the espresso beans, it has very unique personality and taste to it, appreciate the barista for sharing the espresso recipe. Definitely trying out other beans soon!
This was a strong coffee and more bitter than i would usually drink, but then i made some cold brew with it and it was really fragrant and sweet!!
I brew espresso in my stove-top Bialetti. This method highlighted the tart and jammy raspberry flavour mentioned in the tasting notes. It was well-balanced and the cocoa and cashew notes brought out a more rounded mouth-feel. I drank it black, and no sugar was needed as the flavour was sweet and balanced on its own. A very pleasant cup.
Good and well balanced this espresso for me as a dominat of nuts flavor with a slight touch of fruits. I'm used to italian espresso so I would prefer a stronger and longer aftertaste but it's still very smooth.
