ORIGAMI was found in Mino-city, Gifu Prefecture. The city is renowned for its good quality soil, skilled potters, and more than 400 years of history in ceramics called "Mino Ware." With the mission "to make good coffee around the world," ORIGAMI offers quality coffee equipment with a wide range of color variation to match any interior concept.
Ori in Origami means "folding" and g(k)ami means "paper" which is the Japanese art of paper folding. This beautiful ORIGAMI Dripper is inspired by the spirit of playfulness and creativity, combined with delicate crafts.
While it's visually is definitely appealing, to ensure functionality the product design team worked with many baristas to achieve the ideal blooming/dripping time and product shape. The 20 ribs creates air channels and keeps the brewing smooth and clog-free, which also provide great control over the dripping speed.
If you want to take a beautiful picture , u have to get one
Looks and feels high-end in combination with a ceramic filter and a glass pitcher.
Ship fast, great accessories for the Origami Dripper
I'm glad I purchased this origami wooden holder to match the dripper it was very pleasing when you look at it together with the dripper. Kurasu made it sure that the item arrived in good conditions even it they have to ship it overseas. Definitely a great buy!
You definitely have to get one if you own an Origami dripper it holds it safely
Haven't had one from there but quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of it.
My personal recipe is a 10 gram recipe and after trying out so many filters, this has become my favorite as it had a slightly slower draw down. I always end up with a really clean cup. My daily driver is this, paired with the Tujiwa Kanaami hand woven mesh dripper which I also bought here at Kurasu.
I absolutely love this easy pot!
This brewer is stunning and versatile, I can brew good tasting coffee using both flat and conical filter papers. I haven’t really used it that much but it’s good so far.
Overall a really refreshing and fruity coffee to have before bed/late at night without the caffeine buzz. The caramel aftertaste/mellow bitterness accompanies the white peach fruity notes to give something similar to a white peach tart/pie. It goes super well with caneles/basque cheesecake/or any dessert with a deep caramelized taste or simply just some cut up white peaches.
