Barista's Dream Dripper That Inspires Your Creative Mind

<NOTE: This product DOES NOT come with a wooden holder. Please purchase a wooden holder separately from here.>

Some may came across "Origami" before - ori means "folding", and g(k)ami means "paper" - which is a Japanese art of paper folding (paper cranes may be the most famous of this kind.) This beautiful ORIGAMI Dripper is inspired by the spirit of the playfully colorful, creative but delicate craft loved for centuries.

While it is visually fun and definitely will be a conversation starter, it also realizes the best brew you could ever dream of. The product design team worked with many baristas and worked out an ideal blooming/dripping time and the shape that makes it possible- the 20 ribs creates air channels and keeps the brewing smooth and clog-free, which gives you great control over the dripping speed.

The dripper is made of Mino porcelain- one of Japan's most prestigious potteries with more than 400 years of history.  This ‘M’ size coffee dripper can fill 1 to 4 cups with deliciously brewed, aromatic coffee. Pick your favorite origami and be creative!

        Love at first site!

Its beautiful too look at, but to my surprise, also very easy to brew with. Have a good predictable draw time and nice size. Good for both experienced baristas and novices alike.

        Found my new daily dripper

I like how I can use both V60 and Kalita filters, which makes this dripper very versatile. I enjoy all my brews using Origami, as it gives more balance and sweetness to the cup.

        Second Dripper

Decided to purchase an origami as my second dripper of choice. No regrets, happy with the quality of coffee I was able to extract from this dripper.

One of the best pour overs

Kurasu sells them competitively priced. I bought a pair of origami with holder and was not disappointed as it is both a work of art and a good pour over dripper. The craftsmanship is excellent as you can see in the picture, the Chinese made origami style is way different from the original origami on the right.

The most beautiful dripper I own that happens to make coffee that I like the best

When I first saw other people posting pictures of this, I thought to myself, wow, it's so pretty, I have to get this for myself. So I bought this from here and, truth be told, it's the most aesthetically stunning (and pleasing) coffee dripper I own now.

At first, I thought this would just become one of those novelty pieces that I would bring out every once in a while. Instead, the Origami has become my daily driver. Drawdowns on this, using V60 filters, are faster than on the V60, allowing me to use a finer grind setting. While the difference certainly isn't night and day, it's just enough of an improvement that I've converted. Or, perhaps, just the fact that it looks so pretty is influencing my perception of coffee I brew through it.

My only gripe is that I wish it had a more secure holder. It's a thick, high quality piece of ceramic, but it also feels fragile enough that I feel the need to handle this with a great amount of care.
