About Silk Dripper

The unique petal shape and slope on the bottom controls the flow of liquid during extraction to be constant and stable. As it is poured, water flows alongside of the petal’s outline, then converges in the center, steeping the coffee bed evenly to extract a clear cup. This is quite a remarkable design that solved the random dripping, one of the issues flat bottom drippers have. This results in more stable extraction, maximizing the natural sweetness and flavor of the coffee.

This dripper is a fruit of craftspersonship- manufactured in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, traditionally a manufacturing central of Japan.
