About The Product

A New Standard, Created by HARIO Taiwan

First released at SCAJ 2025, where it quickly sold out, the ALPHA Dripper has become a highly sought-after addition to the V60 series.

Developed by HARIO Taiwan, the ALPHA Dripper is based on the same single-hole structure as the V60, while introducing 24 grooves of varying lengths and a larger outlet than conventional V60 drippers.

Its packaging and overall appearance also set it apart from the V60 series we know. More than simply a brewing tool, the ALPHA Dripper brings a sense of pleasure to owning and using it.

Combining visual beauty with functionality, it offers a new brewing experience with a character all its own within the V60 series.

A Close-Fitting Structure Created by Concave Ribs

With some drippers, getting the filter to sit neatly against the dripper during rinsing can take a little extra effort. The ALPHA Dripper is designed to make this step easier.

After extensive testing, HARIO Taiwan developed a unique concave rib structure that allows the filter to sit closely against the dripper when rinsed. By minimizing air gaps between the paper and the dripper, the design helps prevent channeling and unintended bypass during brewing.

At the same time, because the filter sits so closely against the dripper, larger pours can cause water to remain in the dripper for longer. To compensate, the ALPHA Dripper features a larger outlet than conventional V60 drippers, helping counteract the slower flow.

While the V60 NEO uses 72 raised ribs to support the filter away from the dripper wall, the ALPHA Dripper takes the opposite approach, using 24 concave ribs to bring the filter into closer contact with the dripper.

The larger contact area helps keep the paper stable during rinsing, while giving you greater control over airflow and the movement of water throughout the brew.

Rather than the light, free-flowing extraction you might experience with the NEO, the ALPHA Dripper encourages more thorough contact between the water and coffee grounds, bringing the coffee's individual characteristics into clearer focus.

Coffee brewed with the ALPHA Dripper tends to show bright, well-defined acidity, with a more dimensional and structured expression of flavor.

Make Your Daily Brew a Little More Special

The ALPHA Dripper is made from Tritan, an innovative PCT resin known for its high level of safety, heat resistance, and impact resistance. Despite being a resin, it also offers glass-like clarity. Durable, resistant to breakage, and less prone to retaining odors, it is a material designed to be a reliable part of your daily coffee routine for years to come.

The ALPHA Dripper also has a substantial presence unlike any other V60. Its thick Tritan body and sharp, linear form give it a distinctive character that feels a little more special than your everyday brewing equipment. The solid feel when you pick it up, together with its predominantly silver packaging, adds to its premium impression.

With no handle and a sleek, streamlined silhouette, the ALPHA Dripper is not only a tool for brewing coffee every day, but also a beautiful object to keep on display. When light catches the concave ribs carved into its interior, their appearance shifts beautifully, adding depth and brilliance to the transparent body.

Combining striking aesthetics with everyday functionality, the ALPHA Dripper is a dripper that makes the very act of brewing coffee feel a little more special.
