The renewed Mountain Dripper has a star-shaped indentation with 5 small holes that guide and adjust the air flow, leading to a more stable and smoother extraction.
The indentation also gently guides the water through while bringing out the characteristics of the beans.
Each dripper is carefully made with Mino-ware pottery technique and comes in 3 warm colors- a creamy White Matte, an elegant Black Glaze, and a sunny Yellow.
The holder is made of solid beech wood (finished with urethane coating), aging naturally as you use, embracing a unique patina over the years.
Pick different paper filters, different recipes- the new flexibility sets you free
Just like the original model, you can use both cone-shaped filter and Kalita Wave style filter- on top of that, the new model is now also compatible with trapezoid filters (fold to fit.)
Cone-shaped filter: Great for medium grind. Focus on pouring into the center of the coffee bed to make a cup with expanding flavors and bright acidity.
Kalita Wave filter: Works best with grind medium coarse. Pour evenly across the coffee bed divided into several pours. It will make a rich and sweet cup.
Trapezoid filter: Grind medium-medium fine, take a longer blooming time, and divide the amount of water into several sessions, pouring gently. Lower water temperature helps to make the cup milder and with more body.
