Nishijin Roastery is open to the public once a month!"

In August 2021, we moved our roastery from Fushimi Inari to Nishijin, northwest of Kyoto. Along with the Giesen W6A, we have been using, we also installed Loring S35 Kestrel in this beautifully renovated machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouses).

Once a month, we open up our roastery to the public and serve our selection of single-origin and blend coffee along with freshly baked original sweets. For our friends who miss out on this monthly occasion, our iconic vending machine operating 24/7 stands beside the entrance.

Nishijin Roastery also acts as a kitchen for our original sweets brand, Kashi by Kurasu. We bake delicious sweets to match our coffee with the hopes that they will enhance your coffee experience.
Experience a coffee moment like no other in our traditional machiya roastery!
