About The Product

This dripper stand was created for ENJOY COFFEE TIME in 2015, which marked the 1-year anniversary since Tokyu Hands Kyoto branch opened.

Originally a bookstand, the Halo’s early work has developed into today’s dripper stand design.

We had a wonderful encounter with Halo at this fateful event, which led us to showcase their product. Ever since, Halo dripper stand has been our long-selling, well-loved product among both our domestic and international communities for its minimal and practical design.

This Halo Coffee Dripper Stand has captured the hearts of many at first sight with its simplicity and elegance.

This minimalistic stand features a square wood base perfectly sized for any mug, and a slender steel pole. It compliments a variety of drippers, and the height makes it effortless to drip directly into a mug.

The wood used for the base develops a “patina” as it undergoes daily use, and its appearance changes over time, making it even more charming and personal.

Since all the pieces are carefully made by hand, there is a limit to the quantity that can be produced at one time, and Kurasu is currently their only stockist for the product.

Please feel free to stop by Kurasu Ebisugawa store to see it in person.

Material:Base (wood), stand (rust proofed steel)

Although the stand part is rust-proofed, please note that some rust may appear due to contact with moisture over a long period of use.

When the stand gets dirty, wipe it lightly with a dry or wrung-out cloth. Scrubbing strongly may damage the rust-preventive coating, making the product more prone to rusting.

Avoid using sponges or detergents that may scratch the surface.

  • This product is a dripper stand. Do not use it for any other purpose.
  • For safety reasons, please use the stand in a stable place to prevent it from tipping over.
  • When carrying the stand, be sure to hold the wooden part of the base.
  • This product cannot be used in a microwave.

About Halo

Since it was founded by a couple, Matsumoto-sans, in 2011, Halo has been creating designs that pursue functional beauty and manufacturing products with the concept of adding a little warmth to daily life.

At their workshop surrounded by nature in Otsu City, Shiga, they carefully handcraft high-quality products one by one, mainly using metals such as iron, stainless steel, and brass, combined with different materials such as wood and cloth.

Utilizing their strength in working with round metal bars, and with other techniques, they produce a wide range of products from architectural hardware, fixtures, and machine parts to kitchenware, interior decorations, staircase railings, nameplates, and other designs that are a part of people’s daily lives.

In their online store, they sell original products designed and processed in-house. Although the number of products is limited, they continue to put their hearts and souls into their crafts, placing importance on the quality and functionality of materials.

Excellent bit of kit

I really love this piece of kit, it looks great on the counter and works with any drip setup. I use it with the larger Kalita and Jug, and I am very pleased that after making coffee it also helps to keep the counter tidy. I would buy again, and delivery was so fast I could not believe it came from Japan. I think it took a grand total of three days from order to delivery in the UK.

looks very nice on my coffee station with either a server or mug under it. Currently I'm using w/ a Kalitta 155 Sagan (also purchased from Kurasu), and they fit perfectly!
