Established in 1925. The founder of the company, Akira Kono produced the first coffee siphon after years of research. In 1973 his successor designed the cone shaped dripper, and the third president of the company went on to adapt this design for home use creating the “Drip Meijin”.
Known not only for the quality of their coffee equipment but also for the excellence of their roasted beans, Kono Coffee Syphon Company is a name worth knowing.
Legendary among baristas, the distinctive beehive body of the Hario V60 Buono Kettle can be seen in many of the world’s most highly regarded coffee houses.
This superb, pour-over coffee kettle is a respected all-rounder that’s easy to handle and control. This classic, Buono kettle will provide one full liter of water for a professional barista pour.
Tasteful minimalist design that brews beautifully. Delivery was super quick and you can feel how much the owner cares about their products!
I love my new coffee dripper set. Everything was packaged nicely. It has taken my coffee experience to another level! Highly recommend!
Everything was perfect. Now I'm learning how to brew at home. Thank you, Kurasu.
I find that the West in general doesn't know about Kono much. I've been gifting them a lot, and it's certainly wowing my friends.
Very beautiful, thank you
Haven't had one from there but quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of it.
My personal recipe is a 10 gram recipe and after trying out so many filters, this has become my favorite as it had a slightly slower draw down. I always end up with a really clean cup. My daily driver is this, paired with the Tujiwa Kanaami hand woven mesh dripper which I also bought here at Kurasu.
I absolutely love this easy pot!
This brewer is stunning and versatile, I can brew good tasting coffee using both flat and conical filter papers. I haven’t really used it that much but it’s good so far.
Overall a really refreshing and fruity coffee to have before bed/late at night without the caffeine buzz. The caramel aftertaste/mellow bitterness accompanies the white peach fruity notes to give something similar to a white peach tart/pie. It goes super well with caneles/basque cheesecake/or any dessert with a deep caramelized taste or simply just some cut up white peaches.
