I enjoy using the kettle to brew coffee every morning.
Yesterday I found there’s a crack on the wooden part of the lid. I handle the kettle as instructed.
Looks cute and v traditional japanese product.
Narrow end is good for precise pouring.
As this is a metal item, often i get surprised when accidentally touched.
But overall, it's absolutely recommended.
The product is almost perfect, except for one little thing: due to the design of the lid, it's quite hard to completely drain the kettle.
Not only beautiful, the right-angled handle is easier to control water flow than the normal grip handle. The spout is well-polished and I can pour out an amazingly narrow run of water that won't drip. The volume is good for 6-8 oz.
Instead of tilting your wrist, you twist. And twist is much easier to control the water flow. You can easily make a consistent but narrow flow, creating a miniature whirlpool without disturbing the coat of coffee grounds sit on the side of the dripper.
There is a small amount of water leftover in the kettle after use and cannot be shaken out easily. Need to use a kitchen towel to soak them out to prevent calcium marks accumulating inside the kettle. Otherwise, it's perfect.
This is the one I have been long awaiting, stylish and easy to pour over
