Frustum Series

The Frustum series is a line of tableware refined in design to suit modern lifestyles, created to help us rediscover the charm of tea.

The defining feature of the cup’s body is a distinct edge around its middle—this design element draws inspiration from traditional forms seen in cast iron kettles (tetsubin) made in Japan’s Tohoku region.

By adopting this conical shape in the teacup, the design improves grip and usability. The slightly narrowing form toward the rim naturally brings the nose and mouth closer, enhancing the experience of aroma during drinking.

This thoughtful design, which highlights aromas, is ideal not only for tea but also for coffee and cascara cherry tea, allowing you to fully enjoy their aromas and flavors. The Frustum Series, both beautiful and functional, transcends the category of traditional teacups and enhances everyday moments of relaxation with coffee.
