Kurasu Original Hojicha Latte Recipe
HOJICHA Roasted Green Tea Powder
Ingredients
- Hojicha powder
- Hot water
- Milk (or Milk Alternative)
- Sugar (or sweetener of your choosing)
How to Make It - 2-Step Recipe!
Step 1 - Making the Base Hojicha Syrup
Combine in a bowl and mix well (We recommend a ratio of 1:2:8):
- Hojicha powder: 2.5g
- Sugar: 5g
- Hot water: 20g
*Use a spoon or spatula to mix thoroughly until completely smooth. Be careful! Pure hojicha powder can clump up easily!
Step 2 - Combine with Milk
For Hot Latte
In your cup, first add 27.5g of hojicha syrup, then combine with 150g of warmed or steamed milk and mix well! Enjoy!
For Iced Latte
In your cup, first add ~100g of ice, then add 27.5g of hojicha syrup and lightly stir. Finally, combine with 155g of cold milk and mix well! Enjoy!
Tips:
- When making a larger batch of hojicha syrup, we recommend maintaining a ratio of 1:2:8 for the best results!
- If you would like to adjust the sweetness, simply adjust the amount of sweetener you use!
