Kurasu Original Matcha (No Added Sugar) Recipe
Matcha Kurasu Blend (No Sugar)
Ingredients
- Matcha powder (No Added Sugar)
- Hot water
- Milk (or milk alternative)
- Sugar (or your preferred sweetener)
- Ice (for Iced Matcha Latte only)
How to Make It - 2-Step Recipe!
Step 1 - Making the Base Matcha Syrup
Combine in a bowl and mix well (We recommend a ratio of 1:2:8):
- Matcha powder: 2.5g
- Sugar: 5g
- Hot water: 20g
*Use a spoon or spatula to mix thoroughly until completely smooth. Be careful! Pure matcha powder can clump up easily!
Step 2 - Combine with Milk
For Hot Latte
In your cup, first add 27.5g of matcha syrup, then combine with 150g of warmed or steamed milk and mix well! Enjoy!
For Iced Latte
In your cup, first add ~100g of ice, then add 27.5g of matcha syrup and lightly stir. Finally, combine with 155g of cold milk and mix well! Enjoy!
Tip:
- When making a larger batch of matcha syrup, we recommend maintaining a ratio of 1:2:8 for the best results!
- If you would like to adjust the sweetness, simply adjust the amount of sweetener you use!
