A new, warming blend for the chilly season.
To make this blend we chose washed Honduras and natural Guatemala- with a ratio of 73:27, both fresh new crops.
Honduras sets the base with its mellow flavor like mikan (Japanese mandarin orange) and roasted green tea, and the natural Guatemala was added for extra sweetness and complexity that compliment the base.
On its own, this natural Guatemala has a bold and notable fermenty flavor, but we kept it under 30% to tune it down for the balance in the cup. As the coffee cools down, you will find the Guatemala emerges.
This is a kind of coffee that you crave as you escape the cold weather into a cafe- you are one phrase away from the good, warm cup of coffee: “one cup of blend, please.”
The cup has a long lasting aftertaste with proper thickness and sweetness- if you make the word “warmth” into a coffee, this is what you’ll find in your hands.
